Article 1. Purpose

These Terms of Use set forth the conditions and procedures for accessing and using the official website of 2026 Brain to Korea at
https://jobfair-gri.kr/, operated by the 2026 Brain to Korea Event Secretariat.

Article 2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

1. “Website” means the official 2026 Brain to Korea website.

2. “Event Secretariat” means the organization responsible for operating the Website and administering the event.

3. “User” means any person who accesses or uses the Website.

4. “Applicant” means a User who submits an event registration, participation survey, or inquiry form through the Website.

5. “Services” means event information, registration, inquiries, announcements, and other related services provided through the Website.
    

Article 3. Application and Effect of These Terms

1. These Terms shall be made available on the Website.

2. By accessing or using the Website, Users agree to comply with these Terms.

3. The Event Secretariat may amend these Terms when reasonably necessary due to changes in the event, Website operations, or applicable laws.

4. Any material amendment shall be announced on the Website before it takes effect.
    

Article 4. Services Provided

The Website may provide the following services:

1. Information about the 2026 Brain to Korea event;

2. Information about participating research institutes, programs, schedules, and venues;

3. Event registration and participation surveys;

4. Submission and management of inquiries;

5. Event-related notices and updates; and

6. Other services deemed necessary for the operation of the event.
    

Article 5. Event Registration

1. Applicants shall provide accurate and current information when submitting a registration or inquiry form.

2. Applicants shall not submit information in another person’s name without authorization.

3. The submission of a registration form does not automatically guarantee participation.

4. Participation may be confirmed separately by the Event Secretariat based on event capacity, eligibility, program requirements, or operational circumstances.

5. Duplicate, false, incomplete, or inappropriate submissions may be rejected, consolidated, or cancelled.

6. If an Applicant is unable to attend, the Applicant should notify the Event Secretariat as soon as reasonably possible.
    

Article 6. Obligations of Users

Users shall not:

1. Provide false information or impersonate another person;

2. Interfere with the normal operation or security of the Website;

3. Attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, or engage in hacking;

4. Use the Website for unlawful, commercial, or promotional purposes unrelated to the event;

5. Infringe the rights, reputation, privacy, or intellectual property of another person or organization;

6. Copy, modify, distribute, or commercially use Website content without prior authorization; or

7. Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or these Terms.
    

Article 7. Registration Restrictions and Cancellation

The Event Secretariat may restrict Website access or reject or cancel an application if:

1. The information submitted is false, incomplete, or misleading;

2. The application was submitted using another person’s identity without permission;

3. The User interferes with the operation of the Website or event;

4. The User violates these Terms or applicable laws;

5. Participation capacity has been reached; or

6. Restriction is reasonably necessary for event safety, security, or operation.

Where reasonably possible, the Event Secretariat will inform the affected Applicant of the reason for the restriction or cancellation.
 

Article 8. Changes to the Event

1. Event schedules, venues, programs, speakers, participating institutes, and other details may be changed due to operational circumstances.

2. Material changes will be announced through the Website or the contact information submitted by Applicants.

3. The Event Secretariat may postpone, relocate, modify, or cancel all or part of the event due to natural disasters, public health emergencies, government measures, venue conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
    

Article 9. Suspension of Website Services

The Event Secretariat may temporarily suspend all or part of the Website due to:

1. Website maintenance or system updates;

2. Technical failure or telecommunications interruption;

3. Cybersecurity threats;

4. Excessive traffic;

5. Power failure, natural disaster, or emergency; or

6. Other unavoidable operational circumstances.

The Event Secretariat will provide advance notice where reasonably practicable.
 

Article 10. Intellectual Property

1. All content displayed on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, layouts, and program materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

2. Users may view and use Website content only for personal and non-commercial purposes related to the event.

3. No Website content may be reproduced, distributed, modified, published, or commercially used without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.

Article 11. Third-Party Websites

The Website may contain links to external websites operated by third parties.

The Event Secretariat does not control and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, content, or privacy practices of external websites. Users access such websites at their own discretion.

Article 12. Personal Information

1. Personal information submitted through the Website shall be processed in accordance with the separately posted Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

2. Details concerning the categories of personal information collected, purposes of processing, retention periods, third-party provision, processing entrustment, and Users’ rights shall be provided in the Privacy Policy or applicable consent form.

3. Applicants should review the Privacy Policy before submitting personal information.

Article 13. Disclaimer

1. The Event Secretariat will make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

2. The Event Secretariat does not guarantee that all Website information will be free from errors, omissions, or temporary interruptions.

3. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Event Secretariat shall not be liable for damages resulting from:

   • circumstances beyond its reasonable control;

   • Users’ failure to provide accurate information;

   • unauthorized use caused by a User’s negligence;

   • use of third-party websites; or

   • changes to the event announced in accordance with these Terms.

4. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

Article 15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

2. The Event Secretariat and Users shall make reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute through mutual consultation.

3. If a dispute cannot be resolved through consultation, it shall be submitted to the competent court in accordance with applicable law.

Article 16. Effective Date

These Terms shall take effect on July 20, 2026.
